I really do wonder how many blogger awards there are in the world. I seem an expert at finding them, without trying. I have fairly recently been notified of two new ones, or old ones or whatever, but they are not ones I have previously received. They are "Sisterhood of the World Bloggers award" and "You Are Amazing and so is Your Blog award." So I wonder if there is a brotherhood of bloggers too.... I didn't even know there was a sisterhood before, let alone that I was part of it.

I did always know I was amazing though, that is just obvious, and  therefor so is my blog, no question about it. Neither seem to have rules, other than you are meant to accept the award, or do some post about it.... amounts to the same thing.

It really should say; "I am amazing and so is my blog"

There are questions too, one set. Which goes to show that these awards are just an excuse to ask questions. Which appears to be the point of most of them. There appears to be no rule about pictures that I could see, so I made my own..... I would have anyway.

I also read nothing about linking to or thanking the person that awarded me.... But maybe there is something about that in the secret sisterhood of world bloggers code of conduct or something..... or maybe not. It also said nothing about nominating others.....  Actually there were no stated things about these awards other than that they were awarded.

I had fun making the pictures, and actually it was not very difficult at all. Mostly just one of my photos, an overlay, and a bit of Photoshop to add them together.

Here are the questions (I must answer on pains of death... warning I can be dangerous when cornered..... and threatened with death....at least maybe I can.... don't think I have been before....) I'd probably would be on the look out for sarcastic and other comments that I don't really mean though. Hopefully you also realized that I have not being serious at all in this whole post.

1. What is your favorite place to shop?
One might think the likely answer to such a question would be at the shops, but in my case it is not... I mean shops are for shopping at. Hence the name shops. I like to buy stuff, I assume that is what is meant by shop, on the computer. Well using the computer, I sit next to it and in front of the screen. Then I like to use Facebook..... there is a page for people local to where I live to buy and sell just about everything from.... Problem is there are a lot of other photographers (I presume) who also see things on there as photo props.... and by the time I see them there is almost always at least 10 SOLD's on it.... or 20...

2. What's your favorite thing to eat?
Well what an obvious answer, must I really tell you.... ok then, its simple really, food, oh and preferably food that I like.

3. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Nowhere, a lot of things I often want seem to get there. After I look for them Everywhere and can't find them, I come to the conclusion they are Nowhere or just Somewhere Else, so that may be a good place to go to.

I would often rather go nowhere than somewhere.... modes of transport would probably have a lot to do with it too.

4. Do you like writing letters or emailing best?
I like emailing, it is quick and easy, not time consuming and people don't have to struggle to read my terrible handwriting and spelling. I like receiving mail/letters though, so I do take time to write them, with my terrible messy writing, because I know that I can bless people with my words... even if it takes them ten minutes to work out what is actually written there.

5. Do you have a favorite game? If so, what is it?
A new game, I like old games that I have played hundreds of times, like scum or mafia and others, but I do really like playing things that I haven't played before or at least not for a long time.

6. What's your favorite activity to do with your family?
Sit and read together.

7. Are you musical? If so, what instrument(s) do you play?
Oh can't I be musical without playing an instrument... or must I say I play the Clare, the vocal chords of Clare. Yes I do play.... or is it really called playing it I am the instrument? I don't know.

8. What was the last thing you memorized?
A bible verse... But I can't remember which..... obviously I didn't memories it very well.....

9. What's your favorite book of the Bible and why?
Proverbs. it is so full of wisdom. It is probably the book I have read the most times.... I am always either reading through psalms or proverbs, and somewhere else in the bible to. Hmm that Somewhere Else place has come back again..... at the moment though I am reading Proverbs and Deuteronomy.

10. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Well it appears I am doing it... does that mean I am grow'd up? And for those who have not being paying attention that is being a photographer. If you didn't know that then you better have a look at my website Clear Light Photography. Because you must not have looked at it before.

11. What are some of your hobbies?
Photography, writing, reading, stamp collecting, raising chooks (for y'all Americans I mean chickens. Though in my point of view chickens are baby chooks.) I also do beading/jewelry making, and a number of other crafty things.

12. Do you like doing different hairdos on your hair?
Guilty, very, I really like trying new hairdos, and finding ones I would like to try copy... generally without doing tutorials.... I only do that if I fail.... and making up my own styles.

Now for questions because I must have a few questions, if I am to have someone to answer them. Maybe I should join the two together and make a new award "The amazing world Bloggers award". I suppose I can only nominate Girls for the sisterhood thingy award. It would be funny to award a guy that though.....

So for the sisterhood award I will nominate Jane because she is very naughty and hasn't done the last award I award her, and she said she would do it. I am waiting Jane! I also nominate anyone who wants to join the sisterhood, or (for the other award) knows that their blog is just so awesome, along with themselves of course. I also nominate Sarah. Come on you have to do another post one day. Sarah I invite you to join the mysterious Sisterhood of world bloggers, because there are not enough posts on your blog to make it amazing, although if you want to do that award you could because you are amazing, but you might have to drop off the part about having an amazing blog. Rosie I also nominate you to join the sisterhood, although I don't believe I am really far enough initiated into it to be inviting others in, but since it does not really exist I suppose that does not mater. Then again maybe it does exist.....

As I said before if you would like to answer some questions then please YOU HAVE BEEN NOMINATED, and if not then at least look at the pictures in this post. Quite possibly you may not even read this far down, if you do let me know. Of course if you like to answer questions or just one of them then you can do that in the comments below too.

Here are the questions:

1.What is the strangest thing you have ever eaten?
2.Would you rather visit any fantasy realm you wish and die on a desert island, in a battle or stuck up a tree; or would you prefer to live a long long life here on earth?
3.If you had to be locked in a small room for one day with one other blogger who would that be? (the room is completely bare except for one light in the roof )
4.What is the biggest number of words you have written in one day.
5.Do you write stories? If so what is the hardest thing about writing them?
6.What is your opinion on popping candy?
7.How many blogger awards are there in the world?
8.How many awards (to do with bogs) have you been awarded, and how many have you not done of those awarded?
9.What is the coolest bruise you have ever got? and which colour bruise do you prefer?
10.What languages do you know, pretend to know, have attempted to know, wish you knew?

Now I shall answer the questions asked. There are only four but because of the sort of questions the answers will probably be rather difficult to answer. Thank you Emily Dempster and Esther Filbrun for the questions.

What do you believe about hugging people?
I never used to like hugs at all but I had a friend who....well she didn't notice I didn't like them....and as time went on I actually came to like it; hugs from other girls/ladies that is. So I do really like hugs, but not from guys. I believe that hugging guys is not a good thing to do, it is too intimate, and anyway what sort of hug do you do? AWKWARD

If I were to hug a guy I would think that it was a sign of affection that I should only be showing to the man I one day marry. So sorry guys but no hugs. Unless you are already married to me, but you may have to wait a few years for that too and only one guy will get that.

I  really do like hugs from other girls/ladies. But I don't hug any guys unless I am related to them (my dad, cousins and uncles). For more reasons I agree with check out Reagan's Why I don't Hug Girls series. He puts a lot of thought into all his posts.

Of course not everyone will agree with me but that is not the point, this is about what I believe.

What do you believe about women having jobs verses at home, in the church, etc...?
Now this is difficult... I am currently trying to work out what I believe about this. I do believe that once a women is married her duty is to her husband and then children and she should not be working outside the home. I believe it is then her place to support her husband by making his home a beautiful place and raising his children, while he supports her financially. I am not condemning those women who do work outside the home but this is what I believe. God created us for man, and he made us with separate roles, with different positions. Which makes me think of a quote I really like;

"The woman came from a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected. And next to the heart to be loved."

But before a woman is married, I think she should be serving in her home definitely but also.... Maybe she could get a job too, but she would have to be careful. I am really not sure about what I think about this. I think it would be ok to get a job. (I do occasionally get paid to clean the church. and I do paid photo shoots.... so they are sort of Jobs, and I think they are all good)

With the "in the church" part of the question, I certainly believe a young lady, woman, young man, man should all be serving in the church. If we truly love the Father/Groom we will love the Bride (the church). In the church we should be serving God and each other, there are so many things that each of us can do, right from washing up and weeding church gardens to teaching the children and leading worship and all the in between.

What do you believe about dating and courtship?
First of all I must say the words dating and courtship have no one meaning, people sometimes call things I would call courtship dating and dating courtship and then one can even get to betrothal fitting my definition of courtship. So it can all get very confusing.

I believe in using the word courtship, it is the middle one after all. I would define dating (I define it, others define differently) as when a guy and girl go "out" together somewhere for the purpose of enjoyment. Short term enjoyment, that often, but not always, ends in one or both of them being hurt.

I define courtship as a relationship of a man and woman pursuing the goal of marriage. Well they are getting to know each other to find out if they would be suitable for each other and if that is God's will.  I believe it is a thing between the two families and the parents help a lot in the process. It is quite different to dating in a number of ways, they would not be entirely alone, though at times they may be out of hearing distance from others and also it is about getting to know each other and pulling each other towards God and not the selfish relationship I defined dating as.

What do you believe the way to heaven is?
Hmm interesting...short answer: through Jesus. Long answer: I believe each one who is saved is first predestined, at some time in our lives we are called to accept Christ and we do. The bible (Gods word) is the highest authority. And I know that when I die I shall gain Christ and heavenly Glory..... oh these things are hard to explain...

Romans 8:30
And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

as Paul said in Philippians 1:21
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
I did a Q and A a few months ago and I thought I should do another, but this one will be slightly different. I want you to ask me questions about what I believe about certain things... it probably won't be so funny, but it could prove to be interesting. So ask away, please. If you don't ask questions than I will have trouble answering them... because I won't be able to read them to answer them because they don't exist in writing, and possibly not even in you head. So please make some up and ask away.

Example question which I shall answer: What do you believe about hugging people?

So ask anything that comes to your head... and I shall try answer it.
So now I shall answer some questions! Thank you Sarah, His Princess, Esther Filbrun, and Jane for your questions.

Sarah asked and I now answer.
1. What colour are your eyes?
My eyes are green and blue and gold-brown....Hazel. Sometimes they look more green and other times more grey. Some of the eyes on this post are my eyes.

2. Do you like using pens or pencils?
Pencils when I am drawing because you can't shade with pens or rub pens out. Pens when writing as if I try writing fast with pencils it is even harder to later decode...

3. What was/is your favourite book?
Well this is not so hard as I first thought. The Bible is a book that brings great Joy and blessing to my life, and one of the books that I have read more than three times... and some parts like the Gospels, Psalms and Proverbs a LOT more times.... especially Proverbs, it has so many gems in it that are just waiting to be found.

4. Favourite school subject?
Literary Lessons From Lord Of The Rings. It is so cool to have to read Lord Of The Rings for school work and the studies on old epics and other things I have done with it are also fun... Today I had to write what Happened to the Entwives... I have always wondered and apparently Tolkien himself never really knew. So I made it up.

5. What would you do if you had noisy neighbours and needed to sleep?
I do....I ignore them....try anyway. Luckily I don't normally hear him when he starts up his truck at four in the morning but my poor mother and baby sister do.

6. Do you enjoy writing stories?
*Stares at you open mouthed* DO I? of course I do! If I couldn't write things I'd go to pieces...literally and that would not be a pretty sight.

7. What is your favourite animal?
Horses, they are such animals of grace and beauty and they can be such loving creatures. A horse is so free, agile, proud, spirited. There are so many stories that horses take a huge part in as they took a huge part in our history. As the saying goes "A dog may be man's best friend, but the horse wrote history." I just love watching them move. They are in my opinion the most beautiful of God's animals. I also think it is so amazing how we can control horses that are so much bigger and more powerful than we are, and we control them with force yes, and brutality, but also love and patience and respect which by far is the better way of doing it. Understanding them is the right way, not breaking them, "breaking" things does not normally result in good.

ah sorry about that but horses are well horses....and horses

The hooves of horses!
Oh! witching and sweet
Is the music earth steals from the iron-shod feet;
No whisper of lover, no trilling of bird,
Can stir me as much as hooves of horses
Have stirred.

~Will H. Ogilvie
there I go again.....

8. Shoes or no shoes?
Well when sleeping definitely no shoes, it would be rather uncomfortable to sleep with them on. Though I must say I have never tried.

9. Blue or Green?
Grass would look very strange and rather scary if it turned blue so I would prefer if it stayed green.

or to answer that another way
Blue because when I am 'blue' I am only sad or maybe cold... Green on the other hand.... sick...not nice so definitely not green.

or if you didn't mean either of them....well neither
Purple is better...well if you mean colours and not turning purple because your circulation has been cut off and if nothing is done about it, whatever has turned purple might fall off. SO I wouldn't suggest turning blue, green or purple for any amount of time at least.

10. Do you go to school, homeschool or have you finished school?
Well I suppose I homeschool. I am not really registered any more as I am too old but I still do school work so I have not finished. So I must still homeschool.... and if you want to know what year I am in that is a silly question as you all should know we are in year 2014 unless of course you are a time traveler or you are reading this post in some year after 2014.

11. Why aren't the Sunshine Award questions an even number?
Why ask me? I did not make up the sunshine award business .... I just got nominated first in our "group" in the blogging world. Maybe someone just liked the number 11.... it is even if you add the 1 and the 1 of the 11 together 1+1=2.... which is even....But the sunshine award is sorta odd.

His Princess asked and I now answer.
1. Do you wear makeup?
NO... need I say more. I think makeup could be used lightly, maybe and it does not bother me when people use a little bit but I personally see no real reason to use it at all. I see too many people totally covering their faces with the stuff and making themselves look to me, quite hideous.

2. Are your ears pierced?
Again no and I have no wish to... I do like jewelry but putting holes in my ears seems unnecessary and  knowing that my skin is normally annoyingly sensitive  I don't see any reason to argue with it further. So I shall content myself with occasionally wearing necklaces and bracelets (which I used to hate).

3. What is your favorite food?
Well I had to decide what to eat for tea on my birthday and on the night before... I chose pizzas and pies... I do like so many sorts of food though .

4. Do you have any pet-peeves?
Yes a lot but as soon as I saw that question I forgot nearly all of them....maybe one is being so forgetful....

I know... Photos and how people say to other people "What a lovely photo" and all sorts of nice stuff and it is a blurry unfocused photo.... the subject may be lovely yes but NOT THE ACTUAL PHOTO! Then they come and say the same thing about my photos... I love comments on my photos but somehow when they said the same thing about a terrible photo.... it is not the same. Or just using a phone and calling it a camera!...tis not a camera....horrid things....

I suppose people spelling my name wrong especially if it is in reply to an email or comment, so they should be able to see my name spelled correctly right in front of their eyes!

People smoking in public places.... anywhere near me... so I have to hurry away to find some air to breathe... they take up more than their fair share of air.

Mummy is so good for telling me of things that bug me.. the thing that bugs her is my spelling... which is bad.

5. Would you like a fifth question?
Well It doesn't seem as if I have a choice? So I shall be quite happy to answer a fifth question for you.... but where is it.... Oh I see now I am answering it! well there you go your fifth question is answered.

Esther Filbrun asked and I now answer.
1. What's your favourite season?
I want what ever season it is not, because I am a human and the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. But each season I shall take and strive to enjoy. In winter there is warm fires inside and bonfires outside, cold starry nights and more excuse to wear jackets and scarves which I have a great liking for.

2. Do you have an all-time favourite quote?
Quotes I like quotes... I don't think I could choose.... but I do find this one amusing and I did just think of it..
"Outside of a dog, a book is a man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read."

there are so many good horse quotes too and funny ones "Horse riding is just like nuts and bolts. If the riders nuts, the horse bolts

And there are all the quotes from books and movies and... I can't choose so I suppose I don't have an 'all-time favourite quote' there are too many good ones.

3. When you write, do you prefer long-hand or on the computer?
Depends if I want anyone to ever have to read it. Or if someone has to read it.... other than me or even me.... long hand is fast but so is my typing... but long hand takes a long time to decode. I use the computer for most stuff but my diary is obviously not typed and I often hand write letters... I do wonder just how much trouble my friends have reading them.... and they are often not written fast... But I don't take a computer with me places... It just wont fit in my bag but a notebook does.

4. What is your all-time record for number of pictures taken in a day?
I am not entirely sure....more than 500 though.... but I do delete a lot and often take shots of a single subject at lots of different angles so end up deleting some of them.

5. What is one thing you seem to collect and then keep collecting? (For me it's notebooks and stationery!)
Rusty things. I have collected them for years... I can't remember when I didn't and I have finally done something with some of them fairly recently. Actually quite a while ago. I covered posts with rusty stuff. They have considerably more stuff on them now than in those photos. I always knew the old rusty stuff would come in handy for something some day.

I also collect stamps... they give me a headache though when I start trying to do something, ANYTHING with all the foreign stamps I have so they stay sitting in their box... forever unorganized.

I collect jars of shells and shells that don't fit in jars.... and rocks...

and a lot of other useless stuff....

6. Do you like answering questions?
Considering I asked to be asked question I must not dislike it... Some questions in real life I get a little sick of answering at times. But when blogging I can think about the answers so I like that.

Jane asked and I now answer.
1. Do you get annoyed when your sisters quote Ranger's Apprentice and Brotherband non stop?
No of course not

NOTE: in our house stupid questions that the asker already knows the answer to are liable to get stupid answers. That are opposite, or just totally unrelated.

to put that answer another way..
Of course I do! and you (Jane) know that full well!

2. What would you do if I hijacked your Google+ account and deleted your blog?
Any why would you want to do that? And how would you go about it? You have failed to work out my twelve letter password... by watching me type it.... and you only know it is twelve because I told you. I type it too fast for you to work it out that way? Besides I know what your password is. And I don't think I have told you how to change yours yet... though you could work it out. So all that was a Red Herring but anyway I'm not even sure what I would do.... and do you even know how to delete blogs? I do.... and I know your password....

By the way... Does anyone know why elephants are wrinkled?

I have been meaning to do something like this for a while. Since it seems that I have to answer some questions anyway from my lovely friend Sarah  I thought I might as well do this now and see it if works. What I need you (anyone who is reading this) to do is write me some questions in a comment below. Later I will do another post and answer all the questions including these ones from Sarah.

What colour are your eyes?
Do you like using pens or pencils?
What was/is your favourite book?
Favourite school subject?
What would you do if you had noisy neighbours and needed to sleep?
Do you enjoy writing stories?
What is your favourite animal?
Shoes or no shoes?
Blue or Green?
Do you go to school, homeschool or have you finished school?
Why aren't the Sunshine Award questions an even number?

So please ask questions otherwise this will be a rather pointless post and I shall have another thing to put on my next awkward post, which I am currently lacking material for. But don't not ask questions just so I can. Ask any sort of question (as long as it is appropriate) and I will try to write an amusing answer to it.

I just got my self in the deep end now.... Oh the horridly tricky questions I could get..... well it should prove to be interesting anyway. (Sarah you may ask more questions if you wish)
