Of Quotes and Rangers Apprentice
It is here, the cover of The Tournament at Gorlan! And it is supposed to be released on October the 6th 2015. I had a lot more ravings about it in a previous post. I also linked to a place where you can read an exert, the first few pages of The Tournament at Gorlan. Mostly it is Halt at his worst, or gloomiest.... typical Halt.
And now to flood you with quotes. From the Rangers Apprentice books. I found all these on pintrest. And they are also pinned on my Fandoms board.
‘I’ve heard that the pen is mightier than the sword,’ Gilan said. ‘But I never knew the inkwell could be mightier than the dagger.’
Said calm and dignified Cassandra. |
And part of one of the funniest bits in one the earlier books.... but it is not actually in the very first edition, John Flanagan added it later....
You really have to read it in the book.... because there is so much more than this bit about throwing people in the moat |
Oh some of the scenes in these books are so hilarious, and the dialog is witty and real.
Well hope you enjoyed that.
Have you read the Rangers Apprentice series?
Or any other books by John Flanagan?

That last one gets the quote wrong though!!
ReplyDeleteYes I had realized that, but there is a great lack of RA quotes to be found on pintrest.... and that scene is so funny even though they did get the quote a bit wrong.
