A God of Hope
I am so glad to live as a Christian. Why? Because we have hope. No other religion gives such assurance of a future as Christianity does. Nothing else can answer all the questions of life as well as God can. I have hope, but even more than hope, the hope I have is a sure hope. One day the world will be destroyed and we will be given a new home, and it will be glorious, I look forward to that day. Though for now there are many trials to go through, I know that the God of Hope walks beside me or if I need him too, he carries me. I also hope that I will learn more about him and how he wants me to live through every experience. I want to choose to be filled with joy on both rainy and sunny days. I hope and pray for the same, for anyone who reads this too.

That's one of my favourite verses! Hope is such a powerful thing - thanks for sharing your thoughts! I like the photo behind the verse too. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. I love quotes with pictures behind them, so I have been making one each week now for our family memory verse, and this one is also my favourite. Interestingly I took that photo almost exactly a year ago!
DeleteHalleluyah! I love that verse too! :) You have a lovely blog, Claire. And I wanted to let you know that I've nominated you for the "Quote Challenge". If you would like to join, simply post 3 quotes a day for 3 days in a row and nominate 3 other bloggers each time. :) Here's a link to the post where I nominated you: https://cherrytreepoet.wordpress.com/2016/06/03/the-quote-challenge-day-2/
