The Sunshine Award: with slightly different rules

By 07:40:00 ,

Old Rules:
* Thank the person who nominated you and link to their blog.
* Answer the questions they asked you.
* Nominate other bloggers.
* Give them a list of questions.
* Let them know that they have been nominated.
* The Sunshine Award button must be on your blog post. ( Meaning the picture at the top )

Those were the rules.... but I have a 'thing' with using other peoples photographs.... so I shall break them, besides I just went back more than 16 blogs and not all of them used the same photo as is on Rosie's blog. Thank you Rosie for nominating me. But as said I don't use others photos.

The new rules.

1. Thank the person who nominated you and link to their Sunshine award post. (it makes it soooo much easier when people try going back and back to find an excuse for breaking the rules.)
2. Answer the questions they asked you.
3. Nominate other blogger/bloggers. (I am tempted to change that more)
4. Give them a list of questions. (how long is a list?)
5. Let them know that they have been nominated.
6. Make a Sunshine Award button and put it on your post. If you do not wish to make one then at least go back a few blogs and get one that is a good resolution!

This is my photo, but I give permission to any who wish to use it for a sunshine award post.

So now to answer Rosie's questions...

1. If you were an animal, what would you be?
If I were an animal...wait stop right there, that could be sorta cool but rather awkward.... very in fact. And what makes you think I would have a choice in what animal I would be? But I can answer this question quite simply and correctly, in two words. Except for the fact that I have already used a lot more than two words. That two word answer would be; an animal.

2. Can you drive a car?
Well it depends I would say both yes and no depending if you mean a car or a horrid thing called a manual car... I can drive very well (if I do say so myself) in a real car but in a manual... (I always thought a manual was a thing one could read that would tell you how to work something like a camera for example) In a manual I am better at driving backwards than forwards. So the answer is yes.... if you mean a car and not a....thingthatlookslikeonebutisnot.

3. What is your favourite thing to cook?
Brothers, I said something about this in the sunflower award I did earlier. And I cook them on a lounge and sprinkle them liberally and fairly hardly with cushions. Then I either eat them toes first or make them into a sausage first and possibly share them with someone else.

4. Beach or Pool?
Beach or pool what? I don't eat either.

I think tough I should make something clear first the Beach is the sandy thing and the word 'Pool' means the thing in people’s front yards or the one you must pay at the entrance before swimming in somewhere in town. A pool of course could be many other things but to keep my sanity while answering this I shall assume that the above defined 'pool' is meant.

If you are asking which one sharks inhabit then beach, but you should have known that! I am surprised at you! (Though of course the sharks are in the water at the beach not on the sand. Later I will discuss this further so sharks could quite possibly inhabit neither. (As long as we are talking about real sharks and not plastic toy sharks)). Which do I live nearest... Well there is a pool in our front yard and a sandpit in the backyard, my room is nearer the sandpit. (But a sand pit is not a beach so I don't think you could have meant that).

If though you could possibly mean swimming... well I can't answer that as I don't. My skin reacts to the stuff in pools, and to the sand at beaches. So neither, I much prefer the wash pools (different pool here).... when the water is not totally freezing! But of course you could mean photographic wise. That answer is simple, the beach; no doubt I could find something to photograph at a pool, but at the beach there are so many opportunities.

The last thing I can think of is; which one is there more water at. This is difficult because a 'pool' certainly has water but a pool could be all sorts of sizes. You can have little kiddy pools and the great big Olympic swimming pools. A beach on the other hand I would define as the sandy stretch between the land and sea. A lot of water is probably trapped in the sand and again it is hard to tell how much. The other thing is where do the beach end and the sea begin? Both are entwined in the dance of the tides, constantly encroaching upon each other’s boundaries. So I don't think I am learned enough to say beach or pool at this time. I am wise enough though to know this question is too hard for me. So if you wish for an actual answer you must find another more learned being to answer.

Hmm 422 words that was a long answer!

5. What would be your dream holiday?
No holiday or at least one that I could magically appear back home from at the time of my wishing. I could say the same for traveling there too. It would I think have to involve a lot of magic-dust.

6. What is your favourite pastime?
Annoyingly I can't think of an interesting answer to this question.. Favourite is spelled correctly and pastime just means; an activity that someone does regularly for enjoyment rather than work; a hobby. So I shall sadly have to give a very short answer. Only I have a problem I have already written a over 50 word answer... So it can no longer be a short answer, though of course I have not really been answering this question. What is my favourite pastime/hobby? Photography and stuff to do with photos and photography.

7. White, Milk, or Dark Chocolate?
Oh I really wish this did not have that comma in there...
I only see one comma what do you mean?
Really oh I must have been seeing things!
Yes you were, it plainly says 'White Milk, or Dark Chocolate?"
Yes but everyone knows milk is white and chocolate is dark.
Agreed
So what does the question mean?
I have no idea.
Notsohelpfulnowareyou. Milk is white, I have that straight. Chocolate is dark, well it is brown sometimes almost black, both of those colours are acceptable. Both are chocolate.
What about white chocolate?
White is milk, chocolate is brown, if it is white and called chocolate someone is not telling the truth! No such thing as white chocolate
Ah
Do you think I have answered the question?
Hmm
And that is meant to mean?
Hmm
Thanks you are so helpful *rolls eyes* Well maybe the question ws just a trick one to try and
Confuse you
Hmm
Now you're the one going "Hmm" tell me... what does "Hmm' mean?
Oh go away back into your story, or else I might do something to you.
Hmm I think it means I'd better go *hurries off back into story*

8. Have you received this Award before?
Yes at least once. Well I have received "The Sunshine Award" once before and "The Sunflower Award" just the other day. The seem to be very similar, but not exactly the same, then again the rules that came with this Sunshine Award are different to the previous one I got. So maybe the all were one award originally and somewhere along the line someone got confused... the rules were changed... it is like Chinese whispers and you could get an occasional person who accidentally makes it different and then there are those who do it deliberately.

And now for my questions and the people I must nominate!
I nominate both my beautiful sisters;
And I shall also nominate;
Sarah at Novus Papilio ..... just to try and get you to do a post, so your blog doesn't get so sad and die.. wait it is not already dead is it? (Sarah that is a question just for you)
Zach at Zach's Abode  Just because I know just how much you like all these bright sunny awards!
and Lisa Dales at Musical Cowgirl 4 Christ because your posts are really funny and your photography is simply stunning! And I'd love to know a little more about you.

    1. I find that if I am going to take the time to answer questions I might as well write something that is worth reading and rather funny too.
