Having a sister is like having a best friend you can’t get rid of. You know whatever you do, they’ll still be there. ~Amy Li
The place we stayed while on holidays had a lot of old fashioned things around including this lovely mirror.... I couldn't help but take it outside and try some photo ideas I had floating around in my head. And no my head is not otherwise filled with either water or air 'floating' is just a figure of speech. I thought you may like to see some of the resulting photos.
Also a big thankyou to my beautiful sister, photography assistant and cooperative subject... who patiently moves slightly this way and that way to get where I want her.
And of course my cute littlest sister... who decided to be un cooperative that day. But I got some photos.
A sister can be seen as someone who is both ourselves and very much not ourselves — a special kind of double. ~Toni Morrison
What’s the good of news if you haven’t a sister to share it? ~Jenny DeVries
And while finding those quotes I also found this one.... it could be almost true.... maybe it is..... I remember.....
Sisters never quite forgive each other for what happened when they were five. ~Pam Brown
I don’t believe an accident of birth makes people sisters or brothers. It makes them siblings, gives them mutuality of parentage. Sisterhood and brotherhood is a condition people have to work at. ~Maya Angelou
A friend is a brother who was once a bother. ~Author Unknown
Siblings are the people we practice on, the people who teach us about fairness and cooperation and kindness and caring — quite often the hard way. ~Pamela Dugdale
After a girl is grown, her little brothers — now her protectors — seem like big brothers. ~Terri Guillemets
If that is so and I hope it is, then I think I shall like that..... still it will be a long time.... I have always wanted a big brother, or at lest though I would like it.... some of the time...
