Names Can Deceive: berries, fruits and vegetabels

My world has been shattered, because of this true fact. Strawberries are not berries! Yes it is true, a shattering fact. But I found out something else. If you do not want any more life changing facts stop reading.

A tomato is a berry and so are grapes! A banana is also a berry.

The definition of a berry is a fleshy fruit produced from a single ovary. And while at definitions I should make it clear the difference between fruits and vegetables. Fruits are the matured ovaries of plants, and contain seeds. Vegetables are a part of a plant, like a root or stalk. So for example a tomato as well as being a berry is also a fruit and a bean is a fruit, because it contains seeds.

So if something contains seeds or a seed it is a fruit. Although, some fruits that are sold at the shops have had the ability to produce seeds  bred out of them, like seedless grapes, mandarins and the like. I think it would be quite interesting if you could get a seedless plum or mango.... I wonder if it is possible.

Actually my life hasn't bee shattered. If it really had I wouldn't have had a berry strong foundation. But I do and I shall not be greatly shaken, praise the Lord.

Psalm 62: 5-7
For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence,
for my hope is from him.
He only is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
On God rests my salvation and my glory;
my mighty rock, my refuge is God.

Earlier I said beans were fruits, I am saying it again because there are some probably many who just wouldn't believe that fact, like people from public schools. But that, I suppose is a fallacy a generalization about public schooled people. I wonder if people at public schools are taught about fallacy they are extremely useful and come in handy. Unless my sister happens to be there and starts going on about the fact that I just committed the fallacy of Post Hock Ergo Popto Hock.... No It isn't quite like that, but I can't remember what it is, I call it the Helicopter fallacy. It means that 'this happened after that, so that must have caused this'. example: I washed my hands, then the hot water system blew up, so washing my hands caused it to blow up. When really it could have blown up for an entirely different reason.

It is quite interesting just where I can get to when writing random stuff... Well I'd better stop now, Ã€ toute à l'heure!

Well it appears the 'see you later' didn't mean very much later.... I have a question: which water mark is better, this one in the photo up there or my old one? Does anyone think this one is better or should I stick with my old one?

  1. The new watermark looks more professional though is a little hard to see. The old one is easy to notice but may be a touch, childish maybe?
Either way, both would work great! It's really up to you. :)

  2. I think on that photo it it half transparent so maybe I should make it not transparent at all. I think I like the new one better, and I am thinking of changing because that would bake it look more professional. At least I hope it would.

  3. I like the new one better. It isn't as bulky, and is easier to read. Also, it's there but it doesn't seem to take up as much of the picture as the old one. :)

  4. I'll be very, very helpful and say.... Go with the one you like the most.
I'll also add my opinion, the new one looks fancier, while the older one is quite obviously your blog, for a lack of a better way to say it. It is mostly the same as your Favicon. Easy to identify and all...

Unlike (just so I don't mess up fruits, veggies and berries)... Potentially Edible Botanical Matter it seems...
