Talking to yourself
Talking to yourself is not at all strange.... You say it is? Well despite what you think it is quite fun and convenient. If you do not think so than you have obviously never tried, or never tired properly. Therefore you wouldn’t know anyway so you have no right to say talking to oneself is strange. But maybe I shouldn’t use the word tried, you need to do it and then you will realize how convenient it can be, especially if it is used to its full potential.
When one is talking to oneself, one can have the most satisfying arguments. You will always win and you get to argue both sides. If you opponent (yourself) says something smart then there is no need to wish that you had thought of saying that first.....because you did and if later you think of something you should have said you can begin the argument again and say it.
And when talking to yourself you don’t need to make yourself clear, because you know what you mean, unless you don’t know what you mean.... also if you don’t want the other part of you to understand what you mean they needn’t. Also you can never walk away from yourself. The conversation will not be constantly interrupted by “sorry, what was that,” “Didn’t quit catch what you said,” “What?” “The wind is too loud,” “Everyone else is being too noisy,” etc.
You are always there to talk to too, and you will talk back if you want you too.
If you are looking for someone to talk to and still don’t think taking to yourself is sane then you can always try talking to Jesus he is always there, he will always want to talk. He can understand what you want to say even when you can’t, and he can be more comforting than talking to yourself at times. In Jeremiah 33:3 it says “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” He may not answer you in the way you want and at times he may not even seem to answer you, but whatever he does it will be for your eternal good. 1 John 5:18 says; “We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.” Romans 8:28 says “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
