Frost!
I
went outside this morning and noticed, apart from the fact that the air was
freezing my hands and face, that a lot of the grass was slightly blue looking.
I went closer and could see the frost all over the grass. It crunched under my
feet. I had come out too quickly unlock my chooks but on seeing the frost I ran
back in and got my camera. This is the first frost we have had this year and
probably the only one we will.
In

Each
intricate crystal sparkled as the sun rose higher.
Some
frost had been sprinkled over a sunflower. It formed cold fringes of crystal around
the edge of fallen gum leaves.
